It doesn't matter what denomination you are if you believe Jesus died for you and rose again than why does it matter if your a catholic or if you're baptist or non denominational or if you're of any other religion if I'm not mistaken the Bible says "do not get caught up in religion" so whatever we are as long as we believe in God we will go to Heaven

Matt sings songs to glorify God that's all that matters in my opinion

@hlcyouthdir - Have to say, seeing the comments here where my brother and sisters in Christ want to attack us fellow Christians who are Catholic has been beyond disappointing. As a Catholic priest though hlc, I wanted to answer your response to maybe help you come home. The Catholic Church does not teach "works salvation." The teaching of the Catholic Church (see the Catechism of The Catholic Church) teaches that we are saved by God's free gift of Grace, without which no one is saved.

@godzwil78 What happens when your interpretation of scripture is different than mine? Who's right? Jesus gave us Church leaders (Peter was the first pope, see Matt 16:18) so that people wouldn't just read scripture in whatever way suits them- There are many interpretations but ONLY one truth. Also, Catholics DO NOT believe in salvation by works. We are saved by God's grace. Matt Maher also wrote "Your Grace is Enough"- catholic teaching right there. God bless you

Protestant, or Catholic...Whats it matter? We're all Gentiles anyway, and yet He still loves, died and rose for us the same. Lets all (myself included) stop letting the enemy have his' way by we believers in Christ bickering amongst ourselves and get on track to fight the true fight.
