i heard in Kansas that bikers can run red's so long as its safe because the majority of the time the nike doesnt trip the stoplight sensor and you could sit there till another car comes on your side. wish that was valid here in Az, ive been stuck for ten minutes at a time so tempted to run it but thought better of it. just wondering if there was any truth to it

sigh....I got my first ticket April 1st on my motorcycle on my way to work. The cop yelled at me the whole time to get off the bike, give him the license/registration and step to the side. I couldn't even talk. He was nicer when he came back with my ticket, I had my helmet off and he realized i was a girl with my head down really scared and shaking bc he was yelling. He said sorry. yeah, I'm not a "bad ass" type of person. I'm just a girl that knows how to ride and didn't realize i was speeding.

Why do guys on motorcycles always ride the fucking line instead of staying in the middle of the lane. Your bike is 1.5 feet wide and the lane is 8 feet wide. You really cant manage that?

@psiewert83 The middle of the lane is where oil and debris rests from car tires not driving there. We are more visible in traffic at the left or right edge of the lane as we'll. I intentionally ride the line most of the time to be visible and to avoid hitting a nail or something that would give me a flat tire.

@Iroquois14 Nah, it was an OPPD officer... his buddy in the white crown vic was a little bent out of shape about the whole thing.
