  • This thing is too loud, it would do my head in driving it around. My FD has stock exhaust, which is too quiet but this is the opposite too loud :). Sure it goes well though.

  • @gav240z Hi Gav - completely agree with you, sold the RX as too loud for my daughter to sit in the car :-(

  • I see that your Apexi RX6b turbo does what it should. Your boost transition is smooth and laggy at best because of the small bb, nothing like the stock twins. I am actually surprised that you have that much resonance from a titanium exhaust. Typically they are solid enough to muffle out vibrations that rotaries give. I think you might have just a titanium muffler in the back rather than an entire titanium exhaust system. You shouldn't have that much noise, at 50% Throttle. But WOT sounds good.

  • The exhaust system is fully titanium, no silencers and no cat, 3" straight through and 4" at the back

  • @wingsofwar Dude you seem like you know your rotaries quite well, I really want to get a rx7 but i heard the single turbo is better than the twin?? Why is this you would think two is better is this because of lag?? Cos ive heard the single can out perform the twin?

  • @tumzy187 - single turbo ones will produce the more power, depending on turbo unit the lag will stretch till approx 4000rpm then come in all the way round.

The standard twin turbo unit can produce up to 350bhp safely, after that you really do need to get a upgrade before something blows. Fuel pump will also need upgrading with single turbo unit, as well as other safety features
