CRY ALOUD, SPARE NOT!

Shew my people their sins! This is not the message that we hear from the pulpit and most of the guys that "do evangelism" fail to "shew the people their sins"...John the Baptist and Jesus the Lord never went around preaching a "feel good" message, they never preached "God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life"...they preached a message that demanded REPENTANCE for the forgiveness of sins. Repentance that need not be repented of is the kind of repentance that involves GODLY SORROW. A sinner needs to understand that they have committed crimes against God. Their sins are criminal acts, violations of God's Laws. Jesus said if you love Me KEEP my commandments. None of this involves a mere profession of faith. A mere profession of faith that is void of Godly sorrow, repentance, restitution and acts of contrition is nothing more than what Dr. John McArthur calls "SYLOGISTIC ASSURANCE"....and sadly, many go to their graves with nothing more than syllogistic assurance of their eternal destiny. Faith without works is DEAD being alone!
