Blender Lighthouse Scene

Just a simple little rainy scene I made in Blender. Nothing special. The rain isn't that great, and the halo at the lighthouse isn't very realistic, because you wouldn't be able to see it the whole time as the light rotated. But it's my first real project, and I was just covering the basics.

how did you get the light? using a spotlight?

I created something extreamly similar (except yours is better). Did you use Blender Basics Classroom tutorial Book 3rd Edition? Because I did.

Yep, that's it. Mine only turned out so good because I followed the directions as close as possible. The thing is, though, that's the only real thing I've made in Blender. I've pretty much quit it because I wasn't getting any good at it at all. I'm trying to learn C++ now.

It's great for a first project. I'm learning to animate too and I also follow tutorials, but not everyone can do it and get done an excelent job like yours.
