I bought this swing for her in Christmas, finally got a chance to hang it up. She has severe sensory issues, and I didn't know if the swing would be a good fit, but right away she took a liking to it. Anything that gives a rocking, swinging, floating in air kind of feeling is very soothing for her.
In this video you see her holding her newest addition to her "family" which is a group of objects she carries around with her at all times. This one is a night light rubber blue car, named "La" she carries it wherever we go now, and loves him. So its only natural she would have it on her new swing with her, it lights up blue too!
I recommend cuddle swings or any kind of swings such as hammocks for individuals with autism, it can be very soothing and have a great affect on them! You can get them at www.southpawenterprises.com or I got hers from a lady on ebay, which worked out perfectly, her name on there use to be lycradesign, but i think it is now stageanddesign, not quite sure. She also made us this special sheet for her bed that helps her stay asleep. If anybody has any questions about this swing, please feel free to ask!
This is awesome! So glad she likes it!!! How's everything going..
