Im so Fu*** Happy with my newest upgrad, i did it to improve my Audio Recording studio, because we really do some serious recording that demands a serious machine(via firewire 1394a), first of all the daw that im using(cubase6.3-64bit) is running incredibly smooth and strong under 30-40 tracks loaded individualy with lots of heavy vst´s, the performance meter of cubase just went down ..like 30-430% , vegas 10e Pro is rendering seriously faster, heavy files with lots of effects much much faster and thats a fact my friends, and now fsx (that i believe is one of the greatest cpu stress test that any computer can try) with settings maxed out, is getting an extraordinary and amazing performance(30-120fps) , i believe that this was one of the best upgrades intel did since pentium4 to core2duo processors
My pc components are:
MotherBoard: asus:P8z68 Deluxe (probably one of the best on the market)
Ram: G skills sniper 1600Mhz cas7 4x4Gb(16Gb)
Gpu: 2x2 Radeon Hd 5870( clock at 900mhz)
Psu: Corsair Hx 1000W
Cpu: Intel i7 2600k(Sandy Bridge) at 4.5ghz
SSd: Ocz vertex3(sata3) + Ocz Agillity 3(120gb)(sata3 also)
Hdd: 2xVelocityRaptor 300Gb(raid0-600Gb)
Hdd: 2xWd BlackCaviar Sata3(6Gb\s)
Cooling: Gpu:Arctic Cooling Accelero XTREME
Cooling: Cpu:Corsair H70
Dvd-Bluray: Lg
Mouses: Cyborg Rat9 and Logitech G500
Keyboard: Cyborg Eclipse
Fsx Interfaces: Yoke:Saitek Pro Flight Yoke System \ Pro Flight Throttle Quadrant \ Microsoft: Joystick sidewinder 2
Windows 7 ultimate installed on SSD vertex 3 (sata 3)
Microsoft Flight Simulator installed on SSD agility 3( sata 3)

  • @123ww333 you know graphic cards dont have much influence on fsx, the cpu and ram do almost all the work, fsx is a cpu based software
