Why are they underestimating bears like that?

This is totally real, how could they even think this is cgi'd or green screened?

Today's tech couldn't make it look that real.

They clamp the sticks between paw and wrist.

And to the guy below, they are wearing muzzles.

I think it's a bunch of guys in costumes, you notice how none of the "bears" open their mouths. I think they also dub in roaring sounds, and most species of bear don't really roar.

I will bet that it's real.

There are about four bears on the rink. Careful editing makes it appear like there are more. Trainers dressed as refs make it look like there are more. The crowd is mostly cut-outs, with a few trainers standing by among them.

The bears are wearing what looks like skates, but are maybe just designed to slide around a little bit. They grip the stick by curling their fingers around the front, by the looks of it.
