This is not Florence's best. And I don't think that has much to do with her apparent drunkeness. In fact, this might be one of my least favorite Chain covers. Just because she's brilliant doesn't mean she'll shine at singing everything.

Honestly, I have to say I don't like the original. However I think this is not Florence's best performance. Though obviously she's not all there compared to her other performances. I suspect a little alcohol. However I do have to say Florence's vocals and song writing out-level Stevie's I am sorry. Florence studies music of ALL types and writes in an interesting beautiful story-telling way. Much similar to a modern Grace Slick which I adore.

I'm a huge Fleetwood Mac fan and heard so many covers of The Chain which never stand up to the original... this is an epic cover! Rock on Flo! Ms Nicks would favourite this am sure!
