There's also another way:
Go to the Monastery stage and equip both gold rings and the Inira Pecunia glyph.
from there, go to the section where most of the enemies are zombies.
Most of time, if you kill a zombie it will drop a $1000 loot.
Since the zombies don't disappear you will likely lessen your time going back and forth changing sections.
