@ArmenianBeauty01 maybe u just have to update ur 50d ?
-
@ArmenianBeauty01 change the settings to P or beyond :)
-
@macphotographytips This happened to me too, until I figured out that those extra menu options are not available if you are in any full-auto setting (silver controller on the top L of the camera; you have to be in P or higher)
I really hate it when someone "teaching" a tutorial doesn't first tell you about these settings and other basic stuff. You have to assume that someone is a total newbie if you're going to teach anything, or maybe you should just specify in the title that this isn't basic

@nickomc91 defintely canon 50D! I just bought mine and i'm so happy i went for canon!!! I just love ittt

@ArmenianBeauty01 If you are on auto mode, this is normal that you have only 6 icons showing up. You'll have 9 icons when shooting with C2, C1, A-DEP, M, Av, Tv, P. Hope that answers your question

@macphotographytips I think what this person means is that he/she has only 6 icons/tabs showing up and this is because when on the auto mode, if you click on menu only 6 tabs will appear. Compared to 9 when on manual :)

@ArmenianBeauty01 I think you are referring to the menu categories at the top of the screen. If you have your camera in "auto" mode you wont have as many categories at the top.Change your selector to "M" (manual mode for all the avai;able categories.

@ArmenianBeauty01 Not sure what you mean. Each menu category basically has 6 items so that you don't have to scroll past the window to find stuff. Please explain what you mean.
