i believe the reason why many gay supporters dont quote scripture when arguing is because they understand that the scriptures pertaining to this subject aren't written by God nor Christ. they are divinely inspired OPINIONS from mankind (paul, moses,etc.) and any product of mankind has flawful potential.

Since this video was in response to christian ministers, what if any portion of the bible should they believe and teach? These are pertinent questions to understand the premise of your statements. thank you in advance for your response.

@maintainer747 They (Christian ministers you referred to) and any other minister should preach from whatever portion of the bible that's relevant to their message. However, that is not to say that because it was quoted from the bible it is the word of God. In the case of 2 Timothy that is the word of Paul and even his authorship of that book is in question by biblical scholars today. Therein lies my point.

@castelano07 There in lies the flaw to that argument if you are a believer in Jesus. If the Word of God is flawed then it isn't good for anything. If we can pick and choose what is relevant and what is in error, we make ourselves to be god and we tell the God of the bible, we know more than you so we will obey and follow what we want and not what the Word says. Wouldn't that just make us like any religion who creates a god builds it and then prays unto it for guidance? Isaiah 44:10-17

If the Bible is not the word of Yah, then it has to be a book of lies and there is no creator. But if we believe in Jeshua, we believe that he is THE WORD and the doctrine and teachings of the Bible are inspired and recorded by holy men of God.

If one can not believe Yah can guide these men to record accurately His Way, then how can one say he believes in the parting of the Red Sea, the virgin birth, etc? We can't pick and choose what we want to believe from the Bible = division.

@maintainer747 You can be a believer of Christ and not follow or agree with everything the bible says. That's precisely why Christianity has several denominations today. I am 100 % positive that even you sir do not follow the bible in its entirety. You pick and choose the same way others pick and choose. That is not to say you're playing God.

@maintainer747 I wouldn't necessarily call it a flaw, more like where we disagree. I am a believer of Christ and consider myself a christian. Keep in mind the earliest Christian bible was found in the 4th Century, long after the death and resurrection of Christ. Meaning it wasn't until around the 4th Century that mankind even had a bible. So what of those people? Where they not Christians because they had no "Word of God?"
