Gregg Abbott is the biggest scammer/fraud artist in the whole STATE OF TEXAS. Everyone working for the AG office are scum, thieves , liars and cheats. The word treason comes to mind as well.

The TX Attorney Generals Office is in my opinion THE WORST state office I've ever experienced.In all my dealings with them their service is nothing short of shabby & they can provide no information. One lady that worked there here in San Angelo told me they're 6 months behind. I understand why they have to have vault doors & bullet proof glass in their office. Horrible horrible in every dealing I've ever had with them. I'm voting against Abbott nov 4th & encourage everyone else to also.

Texas needs Equal Parenting and do away with the Child Support/Welfare tax free incentive. The state receives a Federal matching contribution for child support they COLLECT which makes it difficult get rid of. I say balance the state budget in some other way then to destroy families.

I have my kids 50% & have to pay so much support to ex-wife we live below the poverty level. I waited 4 years for a raise,she took me to att. general office & they're taking another $96/month from me now. I asked for my payment records,the lady printed out 10 years & told me to figure it out.each time I call I get a different answer.I might get laid off & the office told me it will take 6 months to readjust because they're too behind in their record keeping. What an F'n Sham.Vote against Abbott

@eazie213 Well that's the way it is, if you owe arrears, it cannot be forgiven. Welcome to the "New Ameri(k)a. The Bradely Amendment made it impossible for any judge to forgive any portion of child support including arrears. I will probably go to my grave owing the "Soviet State of Texas". I live in another state now but they pursue relentlessly I have written to Texas asking for modification more than once, but they have ignored me everytime. So my strategy for now is to ignore them!!

@eazie213 That does not surprise me. I have not seen my son since he was about 9 years old(he is over 21 now). I found out later my ex's husband adopted him, so I stopped paying and of course they continued to pursue me for arrears and garnished my wages of course, even when my net paycheck was poverty level. For us so-called "Deadbeat Dads" there is no excuse, so I refuse to comply as much as I can!! The government is out of control, but I will NOT be their ATM...

The whole damn child support system needs to be abolished!!...It is a scam!!!
