Map sensor was hooked up wrong before now its right, There is a wiring issue when i wiggle the wires on the TPS IAC to the Map sensor the car just dies, so i have to rewire that bit and see how it goes.

  • Sc14, brackets bolts pully and fit it all, I make the Lower Bracket for the Sc14 for the VN VP VR v6 commodore if your interested

  • i was going to put an SC on my VR, it seems with throttle>charger>cooler>manifo­ld, that its a bit laggy?? if im wrong correct me, but after seeing a few different examples like that i just decided on a turbo job instead, little bit laggy too, but more boost= more fun :P

  • @klampykixx Yeah i have had some issues, The T/B move without the Fine tuning will be a pain in the ass, and the more boost you have the worse it gets, the IAC is to far away from the motor and is giving incorrect readings, so its going up and down trying to keep up, when the T/B is in Factory position it was fine, just bloody loud lol, i will make up an acc cable and do a twin T/B just the one infront of the charger to keep her quiet. and back the fuel off on idle.

  • I have tried the Wastegate trick, and it was a no go, the spring was way to strong for idle and wouldnt open it up, also on boost it would push it open, that was a 38mm External Wastegate used as a bypass, also i didnt notice any lag from the intercooler, but there is some lag when you do the T/B move.

  • fair enough then... lol i do have a question tho, how much boost you running? and with what size cc injectors?

    12 Psi pulley, but throught the cooler prob 10-11psi, and 36lb super6 injectors.

  • @BzKn33z hi i actually have bought this supercharger outlet manifold and yeah i just wondered about the wastegate trick too cheers any info would be graet nice car cheers

  • apparently if u keep the stock location TB, if u put a wastegate style valve on either side of the charger it will bypass it and keep it ; 1- quiet, 2- cooler and 3- make it more drivable cause it only makes boost when u open the throttle.

    i looked pretty deeply into it, hence y i decided a turbo would be better.
