  • wow that is rude, I was on the left side and I was right on the aisle but I didn't have my camera on me when i was down there. maybe next year the security won't be so rude (different location- different security? probably not haha) but I would love the link to your friend. I didn't get to stay for Alive's Got Talent so it'd be cool to see him.

  • He was great, as was all of the other participants. He was freestyle beatboxing, just showing what he could do, and it was awesome.. I can't wait until the video is up, the upload has failed like 6 times haha. It's saying 18 minutes are remaining. I can't wait to stay at Atwood, although it might be really weird being in a different location and not knowing where I'm going :P

  • haha i'm sure it was awesome! I can't wait to see this, it sounds pretty sweet. youtube sucks at uploading videos, when i was uploading mine they failed like 8 times haha so it took me about 2 hours to upload all of them. I am very excited for Atwood mainly because there will be less mud! yay! my converse were destroyed this year because of mud. Atwood looks pretty sweet, but I am going to miss knowing where I'm going..

  • Yeah the worst part about my video failing is that it's a 447 MB video and it's only 7 and a half minutes long.. When I set it to upload it has an estimated time of an hour and a half lol... I think what I'm going to miss the most about Clay's Park is the huge hill at the main stage that you can look up at and see all of the people there.. It's an awesome sight.

  • oh I know, at the beginning i usually hang out on the hill because I wait till night for my favorite bands to come out and the hill just made the Alive festival awesome because even if you didn't want to go down to the ground level you could still see the bands pretty well from the hill

  • awh thats horrible

there are tons of people that take videos at the concerts and put them on youtube. Were you by the aisle where the security was? like the aisle that Jon Foreman was walking down when he went into the crowd when switchfoot was playing?

  • as were*? haha when I type to fast I end up making typos..

  • I wasn't right next to it, no, I was near the back of the crowd with my youth group on the right side of the aisle... I wasn't expecting it at all because he jerked on my shoulder to get my attention.. By the way I'm trying to upload a video of Adam Crane, the winner of Alive's Got Talent this year.. He's a friend of mine, in our youth group and he wanted to make sure I got it recorded :) I can send you the link to the video when I get it on YouTube if you would like.

  • Yeah, and the Alive Safety guy said something about federal copyright laws and made me delete the video and watched me as I deleted it.. And he was a little rude about it, but it's no big deal I guess...

  • oh seriously?

haha while I was taping Jon looked at me inbetween videos and smiled so I guess he didn't care. Thats stupid that its illegal to film because if its illegal ALIVE should be selling videos they took at the concert.
