Global Witness new report Undue Diligence names major banks who have done business with corrupt regimes / kleptocrats. By accepting these customers, banks assist those who are using state assets to enrich themselves or brutalise their own people. The report sets out what governments, regulators and banks need to do in order to tackle this complicity with corruption. Global Witness is a non-governmental organisation that works to break the links between natural resources, conflict and corruption.

  • GlobalWitness may not have removed this clip, but someone has.

  • It's working here, even when I'm not logged in. Good ol' reliable youtube...

  • Video no longer available? I wonder why... Could it be because such expose' serves not the moneyed interests of You Tube advertisers?

  • Video should be still there... We haven't removed it!

  • But it's the governments fault too! Their the ones who let banks run amok

  • We say that too!

  • China. They have quite awful torture camps... It's very sad to read the stories of people that have escaped, but have no where to run.

  • sponzi scheme=usa gov.

  • that's not completely fair, but it's mostly fair lol.

  • youtube fixes problems and updates when they do that the videos go down for a short period of time, but they do go back up after there done.

  • when they have there updates and fixed problems videos won't show for a shot time but they come back.

  • Hard to watch.

  • And one of America's largest allies is responsible for very, very horrible acts of torture. The American banks would be no different...

If only the founding fathers could see.

  • Hmm......?
