Watch in HD or I'll sick the honey badger (watch in run in slow motion!) on you!

Woodoodoodooody... I thought my 6k vidlet would be a goober bonanza, but with the icky and craptastic weather Ma Nature has decided to shizz all over my geographical area, Simon is stuck in the barn and I in the house waiting for the mud to dry/freeze enough for us to film at all. Psshhh!! Being a rather impatient person, particularly with the weather, I decided EFF DIS! and here we go!

I didn't really know what I wanted to do with this video, so hopefully it's not to off the wall, as my imagination tends to be regarding videos and stuff, but anyhoo...

I was hoping to get across in the video that only those who witness firsthand how much attachment and how much love there is in a bond between a horse and a rider can truly fathom the depth from which the connection is engendered (I'm seeing a recurring motif in my videos hahahahahaha!!!). Being one of those people, I can be the one to tell those who haven't ever experienced such a bond with a horse that when you look into those eyes, they reflect YOU. Not the facade you may display in defense of your innermost secrets when others are around, but the you that you may have forgotten or left behind in your childhood innocence. They reflect the dreams we've lost, the paths we've mistakenly overlooked, and the refuge in which our hearts can be sheltered without the fear of losing what's most precious to us through petty gossip or harsh critisism. Those eyes reflect an understanding that makes you feel hope when the hope of connection may seem in vain. By this understanding, they provide us with the strength to conquer, and conquer we do. Together we create a whole, one providing the brawn, the other the cunning. The duo is capable of more than either half is alone.

And thus Stretchy's rant about philosophical things comes to an end! ^.^

  • Oh oops I didn't even look in the description for the audio. Haha sorry to put u through tha trouble of writing an extra comment. One question, do you ride dressage? Western? Jumping? Hunt seat? Because if you have ridden that long, you must be great! Me, myself have only ridden for about 6. I do dressage, and if you know steffen peters, let's just say I he has taught me well....

  • @elon9one

I get those questions a lot lololol; it's fine :)

Western: I've done showmanship and halter, western pleasure, barrels, trail, and a touch of horsemanship ^.^ Western pleasure is really what I love most, though (especially while bareback)

    Wow! That's awesome 8DDD

  • You know what?! Very few people know what this sport is.... Very few people are born to ride...... And died an ultimate star.... I can tell you are one of these people.... You get us. If you don't ride, you should join the equestrianism world. You are so talented! If you REALLY take a good look at this sport, it will guide you to freedom and peace.....

  • @elon9one

Thank you! I've actually been riding for over 10 years. I wish that I had more opportunities to work with professionals, but until I get away from home, my dream of BEING a professional is quite far-fetched.

  • PLEASE TELL ME. ,....... IS THIS MUSIC FROM THE HUNGER GAMES MOVIE TRAILER? I really would like the song name. And btw that was sooooooooooooooo epically awesome that I almost cried. And also, if you added a pic of one rider doing goberstration, this vid would be so epic, so awesome, so theoretically speaking, so outa-this-world that it would become an awesome commercial!!!!!

  • @elon9one

I wonder... Perhaps it's in the description?
