  • Its my experience that the people who are so quick to point out others as being crazy , "mixed up" or "sad" are usually the most mized up, crazy and sad. That being said, John Lennon doesnt belong, in any way, on a list of history's most mixed up people of all time. He's an excellent example of what a musician is capable of. Not only reaching as many people as he did but reaching them with a message like he did and still does today. Its simple and thats why alot of people dont seem to get it.

  • THIS was an UNPLUGGED concert, one DECADE before MTV!!!!! LENNON WAS A GENIUS AHEAD OF HIS TIME!!!!!!

  • @chadbragg Lennon was too outspoken and famous for the US government to handle. Governments worst nightmare. You can probably thank Nixon for the death of one of the most talented and brilliant musicians and human beings to walk this Earth

  • @starlost1957 I agree with you. MTV didn't invent acoustic performances. And alot of Lennons songs were acoustic songs anyway. The majority of songs played on the MTV Unplugged series were the musicians songs stripped down to acoustic. MTV Unplugged is 110% irrelevant to this video.

  • @gettyman1 : Thanks. I know of the concert but couldn't place it by watching. I see Jerry Rubin right there.

  • @lemurianchick December 10, 1971 John Lennon and Yoko Ono headlined the Free John Now Rally in front of 15,000 people at Crisler Arena in Ann Arbor, that's the when, where and why, the who's included John & Yoko, Bob Seger, Phil Ochs, Commander Cody and The Lost Planet Airmen amongst others. Look up - Ten for Two: The John Sinclair Freedom Rally

  • Okay: WHEN did this take place, with whom, what year, WHERE was this? Thanks for uploading but context is crucial when viewing videos and so many times people just post stuff and don't elaborate on what, when, where, who...

  • this is awesome footage - wish some one would clean up the audio
