This was shot by an old co-workers father in (I believe) 1965. It's from 8 mm film and has no sound but the video is pretty cool. If you raced sports cars in Northern Ca. in the 60's, you might be or know these guys. I like the 356 that broke down and they stuck a hay bale to protect it while guys are getting the rear out, in the preceding corner.....

  • My father shot this film in about August 1965, and my co-worker (who posted this) very kindly transferred it to video. I was 7 (I am the little boy in the red shirt near the end). It was the first auto race I attended. I liked Lotuses, Cobras, Mustangs and Jaguars, thus explaining the peculiar filming choices I was no doubt insisting on each time the cars came around.
