In April 2009, central Italy was hit by a severe earthquake causing the destruction of the city of L'Aquila. Sixty-thousand citizens lost their homes and were relocated to tent camps. The Italian government launched a shelter programme and promised a fast rebuilding programme. Two Witness films were made about those living in the emergency camps, and then as they left the camps to rebuild their lives: From Zero - Ask the Dust and From Zero - Next Moves. Now almost two years on, L'Aquila has faded from the news, as has the 'fast rebuilding plan'. The city is a ghost town, the Civil Guard has left, handing all the problems back to the mayor - there is no structure, no finance and a shattered community. This film returns to the characters previously filmed - Nicoletta, Mario, Saleh, Rosa and Antonello to find out what happened to them.

Good job. But ascribing depression and increase of suicides just to the lack of social activity after a catastrophe that killed 300 people and left so many families in pain for life doesn't make much sense...
