Austin Women's Clothing Swap, April 23 2011: Benefiting Safeplace, Women Rising and more

The Austin Women's Clothing Swap is an annual volunteer and donation-based event that supports both local and international organizations.

We collect clothing donations all year and then host a 6-hour swap with live music, silent auction, raffle, free haircuts, alterations and more. Last year we raised nearly $3,500, and after 500 women took their fill, we donated 2,500 pounds of clothes that were left over.

We are seeking sponsors to donate items for our silent auction, volunteers to help us pre, during, and post-event, and of course... we'll take your clothing, too!

Come with clothes, leave with clothes, and support four incredible causes.

Our 2011 Beneficiaries are: Safeplace, The Discover Hope Fund, The Women Rising Project, and the Open Arms Shop.
