Extended from IrrlichtWrapper for FreeBasic's CTerrainSphereNode. Added dynamic Meshbuffers to overcome the 65536 Vertices limit and allow 6 x1024's Heightmaps. Far way to go to get a real chunked spherical ROAM, but a good start. Free for everyone to download, utilize and improve upon....

  • Very cool :) at the start it almost looks like there is a quad tree running as the CLOD refines, great job with the mods you have made too. In the next couple of days there will be an update on the CPlanetSceneNode that hopefully faster and with a full quad tree implementation that should offer much greater detail so you might be able to get down into those mountains :D
