You can blame audi usa product planner Filip Brabec for the lack of manual trans. According to him the sale volumes for niche offerings like v6 manual or s4 avant manual aren't worth selling them here in the states. The problem is, Audi has become so hell bent on surpassing merc and bmw in sales they've forgotten about the same niche demographic that got them through the early years.

I just bought a White 2009 A4 2.0T. Its really nice. The Tiptronice is nice.. no lag. I cant wait for mods. I called AWE and was about the first to ask them for exhaust modifications for the newly speced A4. they should have stuff next year.
