Learn how to upgrade your concrete patio by using patio pavers to cover it up. The experts from Lowe's show you how to cover your patio in less than two days with these step by step instructions.

If your concrete has cracks, lay down a layer of weed defense fabric first. If your patio isn't level, use a concrete leveling compound first.

Spread paver base all over the concrete, leaving an 8 inch perimeter. Add leveling sand.

Begin by setting the pavers down in one corner of the concrete patio. Then mix some mortar with water. Spread a thin layer of mortar around the edge. Use split pavers, pressed into the mortar to create the perimeter and secure the patio pavers in place.

Spread polymeric sand all over the pavers with a push broom. Sweep off the excess, spray with water and allow to set before walking on the patio.
