No - it was an idea that just came about - I can't even remember how. Initially it was going to be a ten second thing, but just grew to become more complex.

Hi Lil - yes it is indeed me minus beard (we made this back in 2003). We shot it using a digital camera in my Mum and Dad's basement. A chap called Jon Evans put it all together and used some 3D software to animate the machine. Myles :)
