Carol's household management style drives the Lamberts crazy - particularly that rule about having to cash in special tokens to watch only 30 minutes of TV, and a six-hour-a-week restriction. Frank and his children make their opinions clear, but when Carol won't listen, Al decides her new stepmother might get the message when she threatens to move to Milwaukee to live with her grandmother.

@Calbenmike Hi, from what i remember they just phased him out because he was an unpopular character, kinda like what they did to Judy Winslow if you remember on Family Matters. It was like he never existed, which is sad for this show because some of the funniest episodes involved Brendan, like Frank and Carol's clown wedding, or when he tried to run away.

@Voyagersguidebook He did? I didn't even notice. How'd they ax him from the show?

Poor Brendan got canned by season 6, he was such a cute funny little kid, but just didn't have a place in sitcom world, like other sitcom kids. :( Still, this was probably the funniest show of TGIF. I love Frank and Carol!

@livinlarge18 Well, Im sure that on other network prints of sbs, they cut out way more cold opens than abc family does.
