I have one just about the same as the second one you showed. Would you make a video showing how to use it? I'm having trouble with mine. I can knot with needles, but not this thing. Go figure.
PS-I like the one by innovations! i wanna get that one next. :)

@karenleanneramel I would use the machine with 22 needles but mine broke so I am still looking for another one. The other one that has22 needles is the addi knitting machine but the price is sooo way out of my budget.

My favorite is the one by Innovations but I am dying to try the one by Addi express .I just can't afford it right now ;-( To knit newborn hats, I imagine the 22 needle machine would work but use thinner yarn and keep the tension a little bit loose. I'm happy my video helps. Thanks for watching!

@craftygurl101 I found it at a discount aisle at a huge grocery. I found another one on Ebay but sadly it did not last too. I recently came across a video from Indonesia featuring this same machine but I imagine the costs involve in shipping would be cost prohibitive.

@j8nnyl, I haven't tried a garter stitch on the smaller machine. I tried on the bigger machine but the toque became too tight to wear. Thanks for watching!

I purchased the singer machine at a thrift store. The crank handle kept slipping. Needless to say, I only got 1 sock before it stopped working altogether. :(

@marissasd1 sorry hear that. The mechanism inside the handle must have been worn down so there is no more traction on the wheel. You can keep that machine though and save the needles to replace when you buy another singer.
