this was a money match that was held during evo west at family fun arcade. I think the money that was bet was all side bets where clock had 3 to 1 odds.

  • O_.

  • kindly read my replies as to why justin et al..will hav a hard time against PH players :) ..the opposite is also true , if you know what i'm getting at

  • @pepesmyth pepe as the Philippines has found out many times, when they go to america in attempts to prove themselves, they find themselves very far behind the pack, 97% of the time. the only exception was FilthyRich in Tekken during Tekken 5 and DR

  • when u get a chance to face some filipino players..ur going to have ur bad day..and sleepless nights..i tell you...better send some challenge from ur ps3...we want to fight j wong online and well show you whos better...

  • @nigmar why?

  • clockw0rk is badass jwong is gay

  • dude j wong knows all the tricks with sentinel cyclops ;)

  • @pepesmyth Post 2 - If I ever do get a chance to go to Manila, I'd love to play the top level MvC2 players that is supposedly so uncommon in the PH - cuz honestly, I haven't seen any. I'm not saying I haven't lost - but I really have not seen "top" play. If there are some good players in Cebu or somewhere in the Visayas, I'd love to play them some time, though.

  • @pepesmyth I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say - I meant that yes, Cl0ck is a good player, no doubt, but he isn't the same as JWong. Just because players in the Philippines can beat Cl0ck (honestly, I doubt 'got his ass kicked' is even true, but whatever) doesn't mean PH players could put anything to JWong. I've played a lot of MvC2 in PH (not in Manila, though) and I have not seen anyone that's even close to top level of play.

  • @pepesmyth I'm not saying Philippine players are bad - I've lived in the Philippines for almost 3 years now, but you have to realize that those "few levels" of where Cl0ckwork is and where Justin Wong is, that gap is very, very, very wide. Cl0ck is a top player for sure, but you're talking about Justin Wong, the what, 6 time MvC2 champ of Evo? No one even comes close. I'm not trying to fan boy or anything, but anyone can pull off combos, it's his patience and quick thinking that wins
