Lineman Climbs Telephone Pole

Bob climbs a telephone pole somewhere in Vermillion Ohio. First nice day since suffering through the most frigid winter temperatures that I can remember in Ohio. This was Wednesday February 16 2011. I almost gaff out coming down. My partner Matt shows up towards the end. Were lashing up a span of cable for Time Warner.

Hey there. Very cool of you to comment on my video. The lineman industry tends to be full of losers that do drugs & drink to much. It's a great job and I cant imagine ever doing anything else but if you do start doing line work steer clear of the losers & trouble makers. Always respect power & be aware of where the power lines are at all times on whatever job your on.

I did. Your obviously in the business. I'm a 20 year cable lineman. But I'm a lite weight. I usually gotta put a little extra yank & growl into getting the lasher from pole to pole but I always do & sometimes, like this peticular time, I'll climb the pole & swap the damn thing. Actually I drop it at that pole.
