Israeli biotech firm BrainsGate has developed some groundbreaking advances in the field of neurology. Two of their most exciting inventions are a device which controls blood flow to the brain from inside the mouth and another one which allows doctors to introduce medicines to the brain.

No insult on anyone, but I think steps to prevention would be even more beneficial. To find the cause so that drugs are not necessary since generally they cause more harm than good in most cases.

Prevention would definitely be more beneficial, but until we know the causes and can prevent them, treatments and cures will still be needed in addition to steps to prevention.
