i think lea meant that artists in our country did not have to go through what charice went through inorder to be known and recognized for her talents, of the producers and the music industry of this country invests in the right talents. because we do have lots of talents. although they may not be as great as charice, or be talented in other specialties, but fact is, we do have tons of talented people who dont have enough resources (roads and/or internet) and influence to make it anywhere.

wow so weird. i saw the videos of little big star. how could the phillipines be so blind. charice was miles better than sam yet they voted for the meztisa sam. hhhm and they say they didnot see it well i just saw a video of anne curtis sold out concert at the big dome ya awful singing and we can see that nothing has changed in the phillipines beauty over talent. sorry lea

Lea was not bad talking about Charice she was just making a point about other talented singers that were not yet discovered! And how unfortunate for us that other countries have to see their (charice&ariel p.) talent first before us.

and how can an international multi-awarded broadway superstar like lea be insecure? lol! lea doesn't mince words and she means exactly what she says for she's smart. obviously. and i agree that for every charice "there's like 10 more who are probably as good as she is". having said that, it doesn't mean lea underestimates charice's talent. lea only stresses out that there are OTHER TALENTED SINGERS IN THE PHILIPPINES who can sing like Charice. don't put words into lea's mouth, people! :)
