Punch Out clone I'm making (Alpha Footage)

Punch Out!! type game I'm working on.

This is not a Flash animation, animated gif, or rom hack of Punch Out. It is a fully functional made from scratch game I've created with a game development kit.

This is VERY early footage of a Punch Out type game I'm creating. ALL artwork & sfx are bizarre, poorly made placeholders that will be replaced with COMPLETELY orginal art & sfx. Only the engine itself is intended to be used in the final product.

And no.... Billy Mays won't likely appear in the real game.

With the way the heads are going, there absolutely NEEDS to be a custom head option.

The bodies on this video are placeholders. In fact the only things intended for the final product seen here are the coding and a few of the punch sounds :P

However I would like to make a crude player creator that would ideally include interchangeable heads. I've already created system for player's to include their own custom player art, so at least that will be available.

Also, though more far fetched, I'd like to make a system for making your own enemy boxers and leagues.

This is quite good - BUT I suggest using the punch out arcade version "transparent fighter" look.

It never looked proportional to have that little kid beating guys twice his size!
