The offensive line in split into three parts... The Weak Side (No TE), The Center, And The Strong Side (With TE)... The LOLB defends the against the offensive line's right side, and the ROLB defends the offensive line's left side... Depending on the Offensive formation either one could be the strong or weak linebacker... It simply refers to being on the same side or opposite side of the TE

i like the 3-4 base as well as the nickel formation to be 3-3-5, dime formation to be 3-2-6 or 2-3-6 and goal line plays to be 4-4-3.
I also refuse to rush three people and it must be at least four and usually five. If I want to be light on the rush then I will run a 0-5-6 and play the entire defense in man and zone coverage and rush nobody. I guess the only time I can do this is on hail marys, but I like rushing 6 to stop the QB from the ability to plant and throw.
