Dont you just hate it when you get a word or line of text left all by itself? Learn how to fix Widows and Orphans within InDesign Paragraph composer. Don't switch it off man, it works really well if you know what to do. Use non breaking spaces and keep options to get it all sorted. • And I'm upset about missing footnotes when importing Word documents in CS4. Wondering if it has been changed in CS5, cause in CS4 Adobe did nothing with it. Sometimes changing to docx help, but sometimes not so much. It's no problem whey you're having 20, 50 or even 100 footnotes in a book, but when I do academic books with 1000 or more, then I'm having more work then in CS3. :(

  • @serczykowski Whats with everyone getting upset? Common man footnotes still work of course you can import them, just have a good poke around in the import options. Now Im getting upset! Really upset DONT MAKE ME DO A DEMO ON FOOTNOTES, I couldn't stand it its soooo bloody boring, can someone else do it ? Id owe you a real solid man.

  • I am upset about that loud music in the back that does not let me understand your interesting words and sentences at the beginning! Thank you very much for telling us all the details in InDesign.

  • @Fancylooks Hey Fancy don't get upset. I'll have a look at the volumes, but I love country and western music so much I cant bare to live without it! Remember most of what I say at the start is quite silly, and really not worth listening to. Only occasionally do I have some interesting things to say.

  • @mchughm1 Please, don't take me so seriously, I was only paraphrasing your words at the beginning to tell you what I thought, sorry, I didn't mean to bother you. I truly appreciate all the effort you put in your tutorials and is just that I am interested in all that you can say, even if they are silly words.

  • @Fancylooks Hey Fancy, trust me I don't take anything seriously, I especially love your comments the most! I even love @serczykowski comments even though he thinks this is the tech support channel :-) Awesome!

  • @mchughm1

Does this command apply only to CS5? Or all previous versions as well?

  • @benebrius Thank you Bene Baby, This topic really stitches up some good people, Glad you enjoyed the tutorial. I actually love the paragraph composer, it is a highly misunderstood technology. Lets all learn to love it. :-)
