Glad you like it. The local skaters were great to work with. They reminded me of the guys I skated with when I was in Guam. I was a little worried that they would be pissed about not incorporating more street features in the design. When we took them on a field trip they seemed to enjoy sessioning on just a few street elements, so I included similar elements in the park and designed the rest for flow. If I could do it again I would incorporate more flat around the street elements.

I designed it in 2005-2006 (long story). But right now I only work on skateparks with another designer. He does the designs, I do the engineering. This allows me the time to design parks, playgrounds, residential, and commercial landscapes. Besides, I haven't skateboarded regularly since I was 16 years old...I'm 34 now. Glad you like the park though. We've done parks all over the country; there is probably one in your area.
