Extract from South Bank Show documentary on the British artists Gilbert & George. Here they talk about the idea of everyday actions such as walking, drinking and singing being performance.
A few years ago I was invited to two exhibtions by Gilbert and george at the white cube in London as well as the first one in Milton Keynes. It was a great priviledge to be invited and see there friends. I was also sent a great sellection of there art csrds all signed by them.George orginated from Plymstock near Plymouth. There is nothing in Plymouth to show for there great talent and protions on the world stage of pop art.. Thanks guys for the experience. and keep well and happy
