Jumping to the point E platform as Engineer (cp_steel)

It's not only the Scout, Soldier, Demoman or Medic that can jump across the platform. Engineers too, even if the bridge is not yet available or opened.

Since a lot of people have been wondering how I managed to get across the gap as an Engineer, I decided to post this short video to explain how I did it.

Remember that you need to crouch jump to jump across. Pressing the "jump" key alone won't work, you will just hit the edge of the platform and fall. To crouch jump, simply press both the "crouch" and "jump" key together.

Unless I am mistaken, you may also need to crouch jump to get on top of the dispenser.

It is not required to replenish your metals if you think it is a waste of time. However, when you reach the platform you can only build a dispenser.

I have not try building a teleporter on the platform, but if you want to, go ahead.

It is very unlikely that Valve will patch this. (unless it is unintended)

would it work if u built a sentry jumped shot urself with the sentry by using wrangler getting a boost with it and than u fly to the CP
