Scary video, man, glad you are OK! Hallett is the only track I have been to (so far), and I love to keep going back. Great people, and great atmosphere. Your video shows a great response from the crash truck and EMS.
The best I can manage so far is a 1:32.171. Not race group material, but it puts me solidly in the "Having a Kick Ass Time" group!!!

Minor considering...
About 6 weeks of Vertigo, left shoulder took a hit but nothing broken - about 2 weeks of rubber band exercises to get it back to normal, few weeks of a sore back - pretty sure without a back protector the only thing I'd be riding is a wheel chair.

Looks like you target fixated on the tire wall. The EMT in the white shirt should have his certification pulled for the way he yanked on your arm so he could get his fat ass in there. Dumbest move I've ever seen...

I didn't fixate... Just made a error in judgement about what to do in regards to hitting the false neutral while setting up for the turn. I thought I had more run off room there. Hindsight is 20/20. As for the EMT... I'm glad he was there, I'm happy that they didn't move me before getting me stabilized because I could have easily broken my neck or back in that crash. I suspect the moving of my arm was of less concern then trying to figure out how bad of shape I was in.

Scott mentioned this video during this morning's riders' meeting. Glad I got to see it. They certainly do an excellent job out there at Hallett. I hope you are on the mend! Cheers!

Took about 6 weeks to shake the Vertigo but I'm good to go. I rode the Street group the 19th and all went well. I plan on running race group the next time out so I can get back on track for possible CMRA in 2010.
