  • The vox are black metal a little bit. Its the high shrieks. Its just a big blend of genres so one or two words isn't sufficient in explaining the sound. Genres and even subgenres have a purpose whether you personally use them or not.

  • @MetalxXxMayhem

    True! :P

  • It's Deathcore. Go listen to Within the ruins, and tell me its not similar. Within the Ruins is Deathcore too.

  • @1734kyle Go look up dates. This band was pretty damn unique in their day.

  • lolol at all the genres and sub genres. i just go by metalcore, deathcore, and death metal. just to keep it easy

  • An actual good band on Rise? How the fuck did this happen??

  • @1734kyle They're like brothers dude. Can we accept that?

  • @1734kyle Actually, I will educate you. This album came out before The Black Dahliah Murder's album 'Nocturnal'.

  • Have u guys heard of The Agonist? Very similar except have a girl singer instead of this guy. To me they resemble them in a way. They MIX Melodic Metalcore/Death Metal. It just leans a little more towards Core to me tho.

  • @frackenzombies Man! Listen to nocturnal they sound exactly like every song of that album. lol Nothing wrong with showing your influences but this was little too rip-offish. A good song but a bit of a rip off of Nocturnal. I am a classically trained musician and I have been playing for 10 years I think I know what I am talking about.

  • @1734kyle The only resemblance they have is switching so frequently between highs and lows. The music, whilst similar, is completely different. Man!

  • CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE CORE ALL THE CORES CORE AND MORE CORES
