hes not a scrub he wouldnt just throw out a random small punch shoryuken because if he missed it he would get fucked up. the other guy applied good pressure and always made him guess when his combo would end and would grab in the middle of it. it was good mindgames. poongko did the right thing.
the pros i know do. i use them strategicaly tho. if u notice when both u and the other player are going back and forth at a jump distance away from each other, if u start a focus attack the other person will almost certainly jump foward. so wat i do (because i use ryu and getting a small shoryuken when someone is in the air is the easiest way to combo into his ultra) is start a focus attack, cancel immediately after and then do a small shoryuken. i swear its like an impulse it works every time.

Focus Attacks are usually just used to FADC into combos or to get past the fireballs. Most pro players do not use it that much. Apparently Poongko does though. Despite being new, focus attacks are not used that often
@hamsterjohn Na they dont but it seems like the bison player was doing nothing but grabs!!! Cheap!!!

Maravilloso Poongko, aunque su estrategia agresiva le pone muchas veces en situaciones muy vulnerables que sus contrincantes pueden aprovechar.

poogko deff has the potential to be the best in the world he jus needs to be a lil less agressive

watch japanese people and you'll see it a lot less. It's really just poongko that does it a lot.
