As you usual these rappers are giving kop outs, because there is no excuse as to why they rap vulgarity, because if there was no pay check for it they wont be doing it.They are exploiting hurting women, exploiting a condition in there own communities and using that to profit themselves, the condition is what's killing us!But yet these guys love money so much they would even disrespect women that are struggling to raise their own kind in their own communities for money.

That's real talk that TI's saying. Our minds shouldn't be censored from any medium of creative expression. Why people don't go after metal music? All metal bands talk about is murder, suicide, rape, drugs, and devil worship. No disrespect to metal, I like that shit too. But the problem shouldn't be blamed all on hip hop, in actuality blame the problem on the individuals out there killing, raping, and selling drugs.

Hip Hop don't create violence, there's angry people everywhere who enjoy violence (people like me). Rap music is just another medium to bring it out, but if you take that away those type of people are just gonna find another way to make their message known by a different means.

It's a burden and a challenge to help the bottom strata. I'm traveled and educated and have a great family, but my life is far from my own. It's my responsibility to aid oppressed minorities as much as I can. Why do those with MUCH MORE POWER AND SWAY fail to understand that.

I find selfishness and greed boring anyway. EXCEPT when it comes to sushi. Mmmm mmm mmmmm. ;-)

Ha. I couldn't have put it better.

Also, as a black gay man (also I might add a member of N.O.W., NAACP, and several gay charities), I've been particularly tickled by the paradoxical homophobia intrinsic to our plight. 40% in prison = nearly half of our men mutated in the pressure cooker of social alienation, incarceration culture, sexual shame, the harsh realities black pop culture tries to glorify, self hatred, and unspoken inequity. WE NEED TRUTH AND EDUCATION TO COME TOGETHER...& God.
