I'm running a clean preset through Zoom GFX4, using Voxengo Boogex for cab simulation, and Dasample Glaceverb for the reverb, and an impulse of Boss SD-1.

Im thinking about the G7.1ut. For recording mainly. I dont have much of a budget but the reviews for this pedal are pretty good

The zoom one right? What would make me wanna go for that one is the tube preamp it's got.

But other than that my vote based on the videos I've seen goes for the POD x3, but you know I'm going to re-research the Zoom unit and see!!

I am aiming for a POD X3 Live, it's got some great amp models. If you've got the money to spend I strongly recommend the Axe FX Ultra unit. That one is just marvelous!!

Pretty good, although I wont record until Im totally satisfied with my equipment. Do you recommend any multi-pedals in particular?
