@titicarcar No you haven't. its impossible. Blood parrot females are fertile though. You are probably thinking of a balloon Green Terror. Its a natural deformity that arose from inbreeding.

They can breed and produce viable offspring, its usually the male blood parrots that are infertile, not the females.
I have seen a gt x bp before, nice fish!

how long dose it take for cichild eggs to hatch can you let me know because on of my cichild layed eggs and some of them are pure white and some are still gray

@u4umi987 I know that the blood parrot eggs don't hatch because they're hybrid fish. It normally takes cichlid eggs 1 - 3 weeks to hatch. What kind of cichlid is it?

Nice Gt, but I don't think their able to crossbreed. Unless it's something like an Acara.

@dpark254 Yeah they're not closely related enough. I still think its cool how their instinct makes them think they are actually raising viable eggs.
