How could anyone dislike this? Brahms never disappoints and Wendy Warner is a superb cellist. I love her fine phrasing and rich tone. Beautiful performance!

That is no human playing the cello, it is beyond our known world.

what instrument is she playing here? sounds GREAT!

I am an avid Wendy Warner fan. This rendering of the Brahms e-minor sonata is my favorite version. I have played this work since 1957 and will be performing it May 2 at Bucks County Community College. I use some of her bowings and phrasing. A Great artist.

wow it's wonderful!

She is the instructor for cello at Roosevelt U. in Chicago.

She is amazing. I know who she is. An amazing musician and a very good human being.
-
Her shifting is amazing! She hits it perfectly everytime!

We said! Do you notice how ridiculously good she is at shifting among other things??
There is a good reason why it ranks up there. Wendy was Slava's protege. It's a pity there aren't many recordings of her out there. Speaks volume about the sad disinterest that our society has in classical music.

hey expert -- you never put the music stand down -- it's not proper to do in chamber music
