No its not funny, even though Freddy was reported to enjoy the "company" of men he also had a life long female "friend". So I'm thinking he might have swung both ways.

Freddy Mercury, whatever his preferences, was a vocal tour de force with musical talent besides (played the piano with passion and feeling to boot). The Queen soundtrack was a perfect match with the Highlander Series/Films. The scene where Connor is carrying Heather to the grave and burying her, juxtaposed with "Who Wants to Live Forever," is one of the saddest things I've ever seen in any film.
