"Stop trying to blame President Bush for everything. If the President has been in office long enough to get the Nobel Peace Prize, presumably he's been in office long enough to do something about the public debt or unemployment. He's done something about it alright. Unemployment up from 7.6 percent to 10 percent, and the national debt from 10.6 trillion to 12 trillion dollars. -U.S. Senate Republican Whip Jon Kyl speaking on the Senate floor about the massive new federal spending and debt that will be piled on American taxpayers as a result of the Democrats' proposed Omnibus Appropriations bill.
