Yes. Also, this is what Robert Johnson himself does on this tune and many of his other tunes. It seems like on most of his tunes, he either does straight notes on the root bass note or does a shuffle rhythm similar to what Lightning Hopkins and Brownie McGee and others do. Glad you enjoyed my attempt to cover this great tune.
