Thursday night, Roger Waters and David Gilmour played the Wall together, after three decades of showing nothing but contempt for one another, they somehow agreed to do a show. This is the full HD video of them preforming Comfortably Numb together for what will almost definitely be the last time.
I grew up after Pink Floyd's time, with all the CDs, and all the videos, and all the music. My whole life, I've wished Roger Waters and David Gilmour would do this: Put aside their differences, and play a show. Just one, so that I might see them live.
This was the only Pink Floyd performance, past present or future, to take place in my life time. And the best I can get out of it is this video. This really means so much to me, and the emotions I've got are complicated. So I'm sharing it. Please enjoy!
Hey man, I grew up after Pink Floyd as well, and i was too young to watch/appreciate their live8 performance. Great upload
