i kindda liked it.That's not embarassing at all because it's a difficult song, very difficult actually, and sometimes it happens.They are not 20 years old.

Definitely bono's fault he went into the 2nd verse for a 2nd time, when he was supposed to sing the 3rd verse instead...and since part of the background song is playback, it wasn't as easy for the others to go back to the 2nd verse as bono asked them to... thus at 04:11 the engineers stop the playback. Regardless Bono makes fun of himself and finishes the song... Still a great band...It once happened to Depeche Mode on Nov 3rd 2005 with Everything Counts...unlike U2 they started over..hehe

you guys shouldnt be so harsh, first concerts are always a bit scratchy, ive watched the same song that they played more recently and they've got it perfect
