Last summer in FL a couple just randomely picked up a newly hatched sea turtle. They walked over and handed it to me. I was thinking 'why would you disturb him?!'but I took him (my mom and dad are vets and I've studied sea turtles alot so we knew how to release him properly) and we let him go right by the water. It felt really cool to release my first aquatic creature "back into the wild". Your awesome for saving that seagull, most people would have just ignored it or wouldn't have even noticed
